Q. How does using Biodiesel effect the Environment compared to conventional diesel ?

A. Biodiesel is a clean renewable source of energy made from either waste or virgin oils, It is carbon neutral therefore does not interfere with the carbon cycle and does not contribute to any climate change. Biodiesel is non - toxic and Bio - degradable.

Q. Do I need to modify my vehicle to use Bio diesel ?

A. No, Biodiesel is a great solvent and lubricant and will clean out any sediment in your fuel tank deposited by your mineral diesel. We therefore recommend that you change your fuel filter after approx 500 miles.

Q. Can I use Biodiesel for Off Road Use ?

A. Yes, Biodiesel can be used as a direct replacement for white / red diesel in plant, boats, generators, tractors etc.

Q. Can I claim the Road Duty Tax back for Non Road Use ?

A. As from April 2008 individuals do not claim back road duty tax, this is now the responsibility of the Supplier. For more information please visit the Biodiesel Road Duty page at HMRC website (please see our links page). We at Go Green Biofuels are able to sell the biodiesel to you for off road use at the rebated rate. Should you at a later date decide to use this fuel in your vehicle for Road Use it is your responsibility as a customer to inform HMRC and to pay any Road Duty Tax owed.

Q. Can I still use normal diesel ?

A. Yes, Biodiesel and mineral diesel can be mixed in any ratio.

Q. Can I purchase the Biodiesel on site…….

A. Yes, Biodiesel will be available for collection or delivery in various quantities from 25 ltr containers upwards. We will soon be offering Biodiesel straight from the pump at our site. Please note that Go Green Biofuels on site premises will initially open on a 3 day week basis. Orders, Deliveries and Enquiries are available 24 / 7 via our website, email or telephone.

Q. How much does Biodiesel cost ?

A. Biodiesel is very cost effective compared with mineral diesel. Please contact us for today’s prices.

Q. Will using Biodiesel affect my vehicles warranty ?

A. Vehicle warranties vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Please contact your local dealer for up to date information about your vehicle. With the use of bio diesel increasing more and more manufacturers are approving the use of bio diesel in their warranties.
